Pamela Palmer Jones, pianist. Recorded July 6, 2015 in Libby Gardner Hall at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
I am a performance practice performer and scholar, trained at UCLA in Los Angeles and the Royal College of Music in London, England. Currently I am a 21st Century music professor teaching a two-semester graduate seminar in performance practice practice, focusing on repertoire composed between 1600-1900. In this recording I am actively exploring the boundaries that define Baroque style, using historical knowledge to create my own colorful and interpretive performance within these boundaries.
