From Moszkowski’s Op.64 set of Quatre Grandes Etudes, here is a piano roll recording of No.2, a study in thirds. I would guess that as with Chopin’s Op.25 No.6 it is difficult to play, nevertheless the Belgian pianist Louis Closson who recorded this for Hupfeld around 1908 -12, managed to throw this off much as Horowitz did with Moszkowski’s other confections. Closson was a technically gifted pianist whose interpretations were interesting if not eccentric, but then he may have been influenced by his teacher Busoni. See other pieces he recorded on my channel.
