Another Wagner’s masterpiece, it is obscurely indexed: Richard Wagner’s Piano Sonata in A-flat major, WWV 85, is in IMSLP, but very difficult to find: it does not appear on the first page of Google search results, nor is it indexed under “S” or “P” on the list of works by Wagner. Instead, it is indexed under “E”, because it is listed obscurely as “Eine Sonate für das Album von Frau M.W.” (German: “A Sonata for the Album of Mrs. M.W.”, i.e. Mathilde Wesendonck). This should be fixed in order to make the work more easily findable by someone looking for “Piano Sonata in A-flat major”.
