As you can see I am at the Allegrettos now. This means more cembalo and Schubert, Beethoven, Bach and such 🙂 Sadly, this piece is unfinished. I am quite happy though, that Schubert was able to progress quite a lot, so we have an almost complete piece. Charming composition, contrastful as usual with Schubert, an very beautiful main melody and main theme contrasted by a loud stomping theme in octaves. Harmonically very pure, even for Schubert standards I would say. It might be that Schubert would have added some elements in the already existing score, too. It seems a bit too clinical maybe at some points. As usual (and probably I dont need to mention it), I play and upload the pieces mainly because I couldn’t find existing score videos or because the pieces are very seldomly played and/or obscure.
