Franz Liszt is widely considered to be the greatest pianist in history; in his time he was accused of selling his soul to master piano technique thought to be intractable. His pieces are famous for his multi-octave jumps and thematic transformations. I quit piano 15 years ago when I was 12 and thus never got very good, so I spent most of quarantine relearning piano to play one of the most difficult pieces ever written for the piano. ~80 takes later, here it is:
