The Spanish pianist Rafael Orozco gives us here his astonishing performance of Chopin’s third Scherzo in c sharp minor.
Orozco’s crystal clear piano technique, his overwhelming power, flawless timing and remarkable finger dexterity; it all can be heard in this amazing 1975 Philips recording.
Listen to the beautiful chorals and of course the breathtaking coda: in my humble opinion, under Orozco’s incredible hands it’s the most astounding and convincing recording of this Chopin masterpiece that’s ever been made.
